We're a few months into Phase I orthodontic treatment for our 8-year-old (braces + Leaf RPE), and MIA Orthodontics has earned our confidence so far.

The office is modern and well-run — appointments are prompt, the lobby is never crowded, and scheduling is genuinely flexible, with evening and weekend options we didn't find elsewhere. When hardware issues came up between visits, the team got us in quickly and resolved them efficiently — that kind of responsiveness is important when you're managing treatment for a young child.

Dr. Hourfar has been professional and accessible, and the staff has been consistently courteous.

Overall, MIA Orthodontics has been a solid choice for our family so far. Treatment is ongoing, so a fuller picture will emerge over time — but based on our experience to date, we're happy with the care and would recommend them to families considering orthodontic treatment in the Houston area.

I found the office on google, read through the website and loved the reviews and services offered. Booked a braces consultation, came in and was instantly greeted by EVERYONE. I was walked through treatment with Vivian, confirmed everything to my liking. Adonys was thorough and gentle with my application, doctor came in and checked worked and it was a breeze. 12/10 recommend this office!

I went to two other providers before Mia Orthodontics and did not feel comfortable moving forward. Their solutions felt too aggressive for what I needed. This was the first office that offered a more thoughtful approach using a distalizer to correct my upper flare without unnecessary procedures.

The doctor is very knowledgeable and transparent, and you can tell the whole team genuinely cares about the patient experience. I feel confident I made the right choice and I am excited for the journey ahead.

Mrs. Jo and Dr.Hourfar were very lovely and the environment was very welcoming and comforting. I was able to get my braces the first day of my consultation. They explained everything so well and made sure I wasn’t left out of the process. Definitely recommend them to anyone starting with braces.

Didnt really know how to start beacuse of the joy of finally starting my dental care journey.....The staff warmth and care gave me so much confidence and hope for the new smile ahead specially with their openning smile photoshoot, it helped give me hope and confidence to look forward to the freedom ill have to smile freely after the treatment is done.....I highly recommend Mia Orthodontist to those who may feel stuck...they are affordable and very caring.
